Salam & Hello,

So last week was my last FreezeFest. No more FreezeFest for me but I did enjoyed it to the fullest. Got a lot of free stuffs which really makes my day. Who on earth will refuse FREE things right? I was patiently waited in a long line just to have the FREE snow globe, ice-crystal, photos and etc.

Oh yeah, I did entered a Dessert bake-off competition. I tried to make Pavlova for the third time before entering the competition. Was quite confident with myself but I guess other's deserved better to win. Whatever it is, I'm satisfied at least I tried! it was my first dessert competition after all. Thank you so much to my support system. Each and everyone of you who came that night were very appreciated.

I guess my frustration was healed with the fact that Mysa won the Global Unification for the third time. Congratz to all!! :D almost lost my voice that night caused I shouted like crazy. You sure can't control yourself when other people were shouting to the max to support their team! MYSA!! MYSA!!  :0

Oh, I was bored.. regardless of those assignments and report, I choose to bake! hahahaa.. Yeah, so random. yet that is what I always do.. baking and cooking when I am so busy, stressed out and bored. Its my therapy plus shopping as well! hehe.. Tonight I baked moist chocolate cake for the first time from scratch. Just try my luck and it works..Alhamdulillah... :) Achievement unlocked!

•  Kalau mak ayah kata "Jangan!"  (kepada anak-anak), mak ayah pun jangan buat. Contoh: Kalau ayah kata baca buku pada masa yang tertentu, smua orang dalam rumah kena baca buku, termasuk mak ayah. 
• TV ditempatkan di dapur  supaya kurang selesa nak tengok tv. (xde tv kat ruang tamu pun).Tv tutup pukul 10 malam. Smua masuk tido, tak de siapa boleh tengok tv.
• Ibu mengandung: Doakan anak dalam kandungan (Ya Allah, semoga anak ini akan jadi fi sabilillah!) .Datuk Nabi Isa mendoakan dapat anak fi sabilillah, lahir Maryam, lahir cucu baginda (Nabi Isa). Termakbul doa.
• Semua ahli keluarga makan di meja makan (whoever you are), tunggu smua orang ada di meja makan.Bincang isu agama di meja makan, dalam family (isu solat for example).
• Anak-anak dahagakan perhatian, jangan menafikan mereka. Esok-esok, akan ada barrier dengan anak-anak. Nabi dukung anak baginda, hassan & hussin. Masa berkhutbah nabi berhenti berkhutbah, dukung anak-anak baginda dan teruskan berhutbah.  
• Kita kerja kt luar utk memenuhi "real job" kita kat rumah iaitu membesarkan anak-anak menjadi khalifah. Bukan sebaliknya.
• Tak kan jumpa orang jahat dengan orang baik. Seorang pelacur yang sudah insaf jatuh hati kepada Imam Hasan al-Banna, Imam Hassan tidak mahu kahwin dengan beliau, katanya "takkan jumpa orang jahat dengan orang baik".
•  Sebaik-baik sedekah ialah, belanja ahli keluarga kamu makan. Jangan kedekut dengan keluarga.
• Doa ibu bapa paling mustajab (senang dimakbulkan oleh Allah).

Surrounded by love

Dear Diary,

I felt so much love today from people around me. From the one i know the most until the one i know the least, each every one of them make me feel alive. After three weeks living in my own private world. This is the first time I met a lot of people at the same time, having good conversation, catching up with friends plus, make new friend. (a bonus).

The noise, the chattering voice, the smiles, the laugh, the marvelous foods, the characters. All negative thoughts seems vanish away, the moments all the good feeling mix together. awwhh.. i may sound exaggerated, but that is what i felt inside me. Thank you everyone, you made my day more than you ever knew.

Taking some space here to show some appreciation to those with beautiful heart, your gifts are sincerely appreciated. Million thanks to Fadh (for the yellow Vegas t-shirt), to anakanda Waheeda (for the-cute-snow globe), to erin (for the makan2) see you next time erin. much love!!!

CV vs Resume

In order to satisfy the writing requirement for Departmental of Biological Sciences, I need to have all those in list: 

1. Resume
2. Cover letter
3. Laboratory Research Notebook
4.  Laboratory Report

Certain company might ask for CV instead of resume. In Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or Asia, employers may expect to receive a curriculum vitae. In the United States, a curriculum vitae is used primarily when applying for academic, education, scientific or research positions. It is also applicable when applying for fellowships or grants.

So, What is CV??

CV stand for Curriculum Vitae, an overview of a person's experience and other qualifications.  
 Differences between a resume and a curriculum vitae (CV):

• the length
• what is included 
• what each is used for. 

A resume : two page summary of your skills, experience and education ( brief and concise ) no more than a page or two.
Curriculum Vitae : longer (at least two page) and more detailed synopsis. It includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details.

• Try to remember his/her good deeds towards you.
• Think of his/her face with a sweet smile on it.
• Remember of the fun time you spend with him/her.
• Think of the reason why you both become friends at the first place.
• Look at the positive side of him/her and all the advantages that they have. 
• Remember the moments when he/she greets you warmly.
• Think of the memories when you shared your laugh and tears with them.

Insya'Allah... all those negative thinking will slowly faded away..

keep trying, i know it's not easy.. yet it's not impossible.
